Our Uncompromising Commitment to Safety & Compliance
In the world of private aviation, safety is the absolute, non-negotiable foundation of our service. Sumba Private Jet, as part of the Juara Holding Group, adheres to a multi-layered safety and compliance framework that meets and exceeds Indonesian regulations and aligns with international best practices. Our clients’ peace of mind is our highest priority.
Indonesian Regulatory Adherence
We operate with full transparency and in strict compliance with all relevant Indonesian laws and regulations.
- Corporate Registration: Sumba Private Jet is a legally registered business unit under a parent company (PT) within the Juara Holding Group. We possess a valid NPWP (Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak – Taxpayer Identification Number) and fulfill all corporate tax obligations.
- Tourism Business License (SIUP Pariwisata): We hold the necessary tourism business license issued by the Indonesian government, which certifies our legitimacy as a travel services provider.
- DGCA Oversight: We exclusively partner with aircraft operators who hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA / Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara). We proactively verify the standing of our partners’ AOCs and their adherence to all Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR).
Operational Safety Standards
Our internal safety protocols are designed to provide a robust system of checks and balances for every flight.
- Two-Tier Safety Audit: Every flight we arrange is subject to a two-tier audit. First, we confirm the operator’s regulatory compliance. Second, we apply our own, more stringent standards for crew experience and aircraft condition, as detailed in Our Methodology.
- Crew Vetting and Standards: All flight crews assigned to our clients must exceed the minimum flight hour and training requirements set by the DGCA. We prioritize crews with specific experience flying into Sumba’s airports (TMC & WGP). All our employees and contracted crew are covered by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (the national social security and insurance program).
- Quality Management System (QMS): Our internal operations are structured around ISO 9001 principles, ensuring consistency, traceability, and a commitment to continuous improvement in our safety and service procedures.
Ground & Passenger Safety
Our duty of care extends from the moment you leave your hotel to the moment you arrive at your destination.
- Vehicle and Driver Vetting: All ground transportation vehicles are modern, professionally maintained, and equipped with GPS tracking. Drivers are vetted for their safety records and professionalism.
- Emergency Response Plan (ERP): We have a comprehensive ERP in place for any potential contingency, from medical emergencies to unexpected travel disruptions. This includes established protocols for medical evacuation in partnership with leading international assistance providers.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: The privacy and security of our clients are paramount. All team members and partners are bound by strict non-disclosure agreements.
